Investing together
in more resilient coconut livelihoods
& RESPONSIBLE REJUVENATION
Coconut farming communities face challenges ranging from aging trees and declining productivity to limited access to resources and livelihood opportunities. Addressing these challenges requires collective action.
The Fund brings industry partners together to invest in communities and regions where coconuts are commonly sourced. It supports practical, locally led solutions that improve farmer livelihoods, encourage responsible rejuvenation, and strengthen sustainable sourcing systems.

What is the Fund?
The Sustainable Coconut Partnership Fund is a collaborative investment mechanism aligned with the Sustainable Coconut Charter. It aims to translate shared resources into measurable improvements in coconut-producing communities, while building approaches that can be replicated more widely across the sector.
• For farmers: better access to services and opportunities that support productive, resilient farms and livelihoods.
• For organizations sourcing and producing coconuts: a credible way to invest collectively in landscapes of global importance with other SCP Members. Building stronger local relationships, market links, and responsible sourcing readiness.
• For the sector: a fit for purpose vehicle for the Responsible Rejuvenation Agenda and to allow farmers to pass the baton successfully to the new generation. With credible evidence of what works, for whom and at what cost, to guide future investments.
How the Fund Works
The Fund combines collaborative investment, local delivery, and learning, to support practical; solutions that can create lasting impact
• Invest together: Industry contributors and local partners identify shared priorities and pool resources.
• Deliver locally: Partners implement relevant farmer services, rejuvenation, and sourcing solutions.
• Measure, learn and scale: Results and costs are assessed so successful approaches can be adapted and expanded.
All Fund projects aim to:
• Create new long term programmes where action is needed, or scale and accelerate existing initiatives that can achieve greater impact with additional support.
• Design for local ownership and longer-term continuity from the outset.
• Use baselines, verification, and practical learning to inform replication.
