“NURTURING SUSTAINABLE COCONUT MARKETS
TO MEET A GROWING DEMAND”
The Sustainable Coconut Roundtable 2024 was held from September 23 to 28, 2024, at the Sheraton Manila Hotel in the Philippines. This annual event, organized by the Sustainable Coconut Partnership (SCP), focused on the theme "Nurturing Sustainable Coconut Markets to Meet a Growing Demand."

The roundtable served as a platform for over 250 participants, including buyers, traders, coconut farmers from regions such as Europe, the United States, Indonesia, Sri Lanka, Thailand and the Philippines, to discuss strategies for advancing sustainability within the global coconut sector.

The event's agenda included:

A two-day field trip study tour, taking around 30 participants to farms and factories getting privileged insights into coconut production practices.

A Supply Chain Partners Day, exclusive to SCP members and invited partners, focusing on working sessions to advance collaborative approaches to optimize sustainability along supply chains.

The main event—Annual Roundtable Conference with over 250 participants—open to all attendees, featuring discussions on innovative strategies, best practices, and fostering collaborations to ensure the long-term sustainability of the coconut industry.

A Practitioner Training on the Sustainable Coconut Charter V2.0, limited to 25 participants, aimed at educating stakeholders on sustainable practices within the coconut sector.
